Introduction to the Institute of Medicine (Black Sea National University):
The Institute was opened in 2010 and was training students at departments of Medical Rehabilitation, Medical systems and Devices, Ecology and Environmental Protection.
The teaching staff of the faculty consists of 23 professors, 50 associate professors and 38 assistant professors.
Teaching is carried out according to modern standards of higher educational establishments. The main goal of the faculty is to prepare qualified physicians for the world, who perfectly knows their business with high fundamentals and training.
In the under graduate program, during six years of study the students learn different subjects from fundamental subjects disciplines to special medical subjects.
Graduates of the faculty receive the degree of MBBS/MD from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the degree is approved by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and WHOalso known as AVICENNA Directory for Medicine, IMED International Medical Education Directory of FAIMER, UNESCO and AMEE. Students who have completed their medical degrees in BSNU are permitted to apply for International Licensing exams like MCI Screening Test, USMLE (USA), PLAB (UK), as well as other licensing exams taking place throughout the world.
The faculty provides comfortable atmosphere, highly qualified teaching staff, and big library to students for learning.
All graduates are employed after graduation in the field that is not only a confirmation of the high ranking of BSSU, but also high rank of the qualified professors and purposeful work of his students.
Foreigners learn in group of 10-12 students. The second year students attend their clinical studies where they can gain experience in nursing the patients. Clinical subjects are taught beginning from the third year of study. Students can study any topic of interest and to raise their knowledge in the departments. All six years of the program are important and all must be passed successfully before students are permitted to graduate.
Speciality “Ecology and Environment protection”
Specialists in ecology and environmental protection in BSNU are prepared on the basis of domestic and international experience, receive thorough theoretical and practical training in ecology, biology, theory of evolution, become acquainted with criterial impacts on the environment; measures aimed at support the balance of nature and more. They receive fundamental and practical knowledge of two foreign languages (compulsory – English and elective – other). Particular attention is paid to the adaptive qualities of specialists, their ability to solve global environmental problems, provide necessary environmental conditions for human life, biodiversity of flora and fauna.
Preparation of experts in ecology and environmental protection meets all modern international standards.
Speciality “Medical devices and systems”
Specialists in medical devices and systems can work in hospitals; health care facilities; medical centers; institutions “Medtechnika”; at enterprises producing medical devices and systems; in designing and constructional institutions; research institutes. Specialists in the field of medical devices and systems should know and be able to use methods of static, kinematic and dynamic analysis of mechanisms and instruments; physical, chemical and physical-mechanical properties of materials used in the manufacture of devices, means of obtaining desired properties, processes processing; methods of calculation of electrical networks, electrical machinery and equipment, electronic systems; laws of structure of mechanisms formation and instruments, construction equipment parts and components; principles of operation, adjustment, maintenance and repair of medical devices and systems; issues with marketing and management in the field of medical devices and systems; anatomy and human physiology.
Speciality “Physical rehabilitation”
Future specialists of “Physical rehabilitation” get knowledge of anatomy, physiology, physiological bases of physical training, physiotherapy, physical rehabilitation during various diseases and injuries, means and methods of physical rehabilitation, sports medicine. Students learn two foreign languages as well as practical skills of massage, manual therapy, and exercise therapy.
Specialists in physical rehabilitation can work in educational and rehabilitation centers of education; institutions of social welfare system; specialized childcare and special groups in preschool institutions; Special groups of secondary and special schools, boarding schools, orphanages, non-school institutions; rehabilitation centers, spas, health centers, dispensaries; rehabilitation centers, state and local governments involved in the rehabilitation; in departments, enterprises, organizations of different ownership, which use the work of experts in “Physical rehabilitation”.
Currently, the department staff consists of 6 doctors, 17 PhDs and 20 lecturers. 11 experts of supportive staff provide classes. Faculty is actively developing, modernizing the educational laboratories, improving relationships with academic institutions, educational institutions, and protected objects.

Installment of the processing charge with original passport, original documents with some additional documents as instructed.

VISA APPLICATION
Once the documents has been submitted at the Embassy and the visa receiving data has been confirmed, the student need to give the third installment..As Soon as the passport will be received with visa stamping, all the originals will be given back.

STEP-6
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR MBBS IN ABROAD
i).Minimum age to apply is 17 years by 31st Dec of the admission year.
ii)Minimum percentage required to apply is 50% in the subjects Physics,
Chemistry, and Biology for General Category and 40% for reserved
Category for Sc,St and OBC.
iii).A Valid Passport
There are two ways to switch over to research leading to Ph.D. for meritorious MBBS graduates.
The main option is to get admission to a three-year medical postgraduate programme (MD or MS). Thereafter one can go for medical research leading to Ph.D.
Besides this, a few research institutions admit meritorious medical graduates directly for research programmes.
For example, Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology under the Government of India functioning at Poojappura, Thiruvananthapuram, offers major research programme in disease biology and molecular medicine as well as plant biotechnology and discovery.
First class (with 60 per cent marks) MBBS degree holders are also eligible for admission ( www.rgcb.res.in). This Ph.D. programme is affiliated to the University of Kerala.
