Ch. Charan Singh Polytechnic (CCSP) an ISO : 9001 : 2008 certified polytechnic was founded in National Capital Territory of Delhi Under the management of " Ch Charan Singh Educational Society Regd. Under Society Registration Act XXI of 1860 Govt. of NCT of Delhi for the educational upliftment of weaker sections of society people from rural / urban / metros / villages of the Country.
The word polytechnic is derived from the Greek word ‘poli’ mean's many and ‘tekhnikos’ mean's arts. Polytechnic offers a variety of professional courses, both technical and vocational in nature. The Polytechnic provides various career courses and allows a person to start his own business or get a decent job at a reputed place. Civil engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works like roads, bridges, canals, dams, and buildings.Civil engineering is the second-oldest engineering discipline after military engineering,and it is defined to distinguish non-military engineering from military engineering.It is traditionally broken into several sub-disciplines including architectural engineering, environmental engineering, geotechnical engineering, control engineering, structural engineering, earthquake engineering, transportation engineering, forensic engineering, municipal or urban engineering, water resources engineering, materials engineering, wastewater engineering, offshore engineering, facade engineering, quantity surveying, coastal engineering, construction surveying, and construction engineering.

Industry visits fill in the gap between the content of study at the college level and the ground reality. They enrich practical knowledge of the students and broaden their vision of the corporate world. Visit to various Industries has been made an integral part of the curricular activities at CCSP.

The actual recruitment process consists of following steps:
The Pre Placement Talks: Companies that agree to recruit students from our institution send a team of some members to our campus for Pre Placement Talks. During these talks students get a chance to interact freely with the panel which gives them a fair idea of the particular organization and its work culture. This helps them decide if they wish to apply for a job with it.
Submission of Resume: Willing students then have to submit their resume either through the Placement committee or to the company directly as per its requirements.
Short listing of candidates: Qualifying students are then short listed and the placement committee informed accordingly.
Campus Interview: A recruitment team then visits the institution for the final selection. For this they can hold written tests, group discussions, case studies or personal interviews. List of the selected candidates is usually announced on the spot.
