Our central training & placement cell (called as “Corporate Relations”) is managed by experienced and resourceful personnel from the industry (corporate) and academia is headed by an efficient and multifaceted Placement Officer. They will be actively assisting our students towards ethics of work, organizational behavior, and the art of negotiation to make the students compatible to the global working culture and additionally they will be assisting to enhance their soft skills, communication skills, general awareness and aptitude through workshops, seminars and industrial training, thus helping them in their final placement in today’s challenging career field. High emphasis is paid towards building up the Industry-institution bonding (interaction and relationship) for extracting out the maximum benefits concerned to our students.
Pre-placement process is the standard practice with us to facilitate the company-student interaction before final placement so as to minimize the adverse acts like 'profile mismatch' and subsequent 'attrition' of candidates. In our Personality Development Programmes (PDPs) we also undertakes the practical deeds, vital for placements, like Extempore, Mock Interviews, Technical Test, Aptitude test, Latest trends etc.
A rigorous placement system is to be followed to ensure that there is a minimal mismatch between the candidates, desired by the company and their subsequent availability. Accordingly following activities are to be undertaken:• The Placement Brochure is to be printed and mailed out to various organizations, along with a covering letter inviting them to carry out the campus selection deeds called “Campus Calling”.• Presentations are made by group of students to different prospective organizations according to the callings in different cities.• Further follows, the visit of the Training and Placement Officer along with the students against the formal invitation of the companies for enactment of campus placement.
All the students will be notified to submit their latest resume (CV) to the Placement Officer along with two passport size photographs. They will also be instructed to intimate the changes, if any, to the Placement Officer to update the resume.
