Alhamdulillah, it gives me immense pleasure to welcome the students of the fourteenth batch of Anwer Khan Modern Medical College (AKMMC). Since its inception in 2008, we have achieved standard of quality in medical education by improving our academic atmosphere, patients care facilities, and made AKMMC&H as a model of teaching medical college and hospital in Bangladesh.
AKMMC has attained a good reputation of a quality medical college both at home & abroad. AKMMC is modern, unique, and its quality is assured in terms of full time experience academic staff, equipment, and laboratory and hospital facilities. New facilities are being constantly added and expanded. A good number of foreign students have been admitted who are comfortable with the environment both academic and administrative.
Anwer Khan Modern Medical College Hospital is a reputed medical service and medical education institution. Here in IPD/OPD medical care is provided to many people under the supervision of experienced doctors and medical education of international standard is imparted. More than 800 local and foreign students from this institution have completed MBBS and become doctor and are engaged in the medical profession in the country & abroad and they are providing medical services.

It is my great pleasure and privilege to welcome the fourteenth batch of students of Anwer Khan Modern Medical College (AKMMC) to be admitted in the 2021-2022 session. AKMMC batch 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8 have passed the final professional examination & became doctors. AKMMC celebrated decade of excellence in quality medical education and the AKMMC day on 14th September 2018 which was attended by the hon’be Minister, Dignitaries, Doctors, Students & Media People.

Admission will be on the basis of merit with the following terms and conditions as directed by the Govt. of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. The Principal along with the admission committee will look after the admission. Applications are invited by the director General of the Health Services for admission to the MBBS course for the session 2000-2021.
Candidates who passed SSC or equivalent examination in science group and who passed HSC or equivalent in science group with physics, Chemistry and Biology from any recognized Board or university of Bangladesh and obtained a minimum total GPA of 9 (Minimum 3.5 in either SSC or HSC) and Biology with minimum GPA of 3.00 in HSC are eligible to apply.
Those who have passed ‘O’ and ‘A’ level or equivalent examinations in the specified years having equivalent marks are also eligible to apply with an equivalence certificate from Director General of Health Service, Mohakhali, Dahka.
