Commencing its journey in 2015 with a 300-bedded super specialty hospital, it achieved the status of the 20th Medical College in West Bengal in 2019, admitting 150 MBBS students annually. Subsequently, it underwent expansion, transforming into a state-of-the-art 1100-bedded super specialty hospital, increasing annual MBBS admissions to 200 starting from 2023 and 250 since 2025.
